How long does the Vehicle Wrap process take?
It comes down to design, approval, production and installation. The greatest amount of time involved is design and approval. Since the wrap is part of your marketing strategy, we work with you to ensure it is spot-on. Following approved design, production and installation take just a few days. Figure about 2 weeks from start to finish.
Can the wrap be removed later?
Yes. The wrap is pressure-sensitive vinyl, printed and laminated. This vinyl specifically has a non-residue property, so removal at end of life is a clean, relatively short process.
How long will the wrap last?
There are many variables that can affect the life of your vehicle wrap. Cold, heat, ice, road salt, whether the vehicle is garage kept, car washes, etc, all affect the life of the wrap. Generally, a wrap can stay on and look great for between 3 and 5 years.
Can my vehicle be power washed after the vinyl is installed?
It is recommended not to pressure wash the vehicle after installation of the vinyl, since pressure washers can potentially lift the vinyl edges due to extreme force. The wrap is an investment to your advertising strategy, and should be protected and treated as an asset.
Do I have to wash my vehicle before installation?
Yes. All vehicles have to be free of dust and dirt. A clean, prepared surface will facilitate a successful installation.
How long will the installation take?
Installation normally takes between one and two days, depending on the vehicle type and the areas of coverage.
Do you provide graphic design?
Yes. We will work with you on design ideas and get your message across. We use your logos, product pictures, and images to create a powerful message that fits with your goals. If you dont have pictures, we have an extensive image library to choose from. In addition, there are commercially available images which can be purchased.
I am located outside New Jersey; can you support my wrap project?
We can. We wrap vehicles all over the country. Whether you have one van in Phoenix, or a fleet of trucks in Chicago, we can handle your project.
Will it damage my paint?
No. The material used protects your factory paint-job from minor scratches, and removes residue free. However, if your current paint is peeling, the removal process could cause additional paint to peel. If the vehicle has been repainted and the paint-job was not done correctly, the removal process could cause paint to peel.
How much does it cost?
Every project has its own considerations – size of vehicle, partial or full wrap, window coverage, etc. Amount of coverage is the largest factor in determining price, but amount of design complexity can be a factor as well. We include ample design time in the estimates we provide for your project. Only if these thresholds are exceeded would design come in to play. Since we do fleet vehicles, multiple vehicle pricing discounts also can be a factor.
